FAQs
Q1. I've never taken a dance lesson before, how do I start? PDF Print E-mail

A1. One evening a week the studios hosts a social dance. This is the perfect starting point for the beginner and most of our competition couples also come as its a very friendly social atmosphere. Check the studio schedule for social dance times.

Q2. What happens at the social dance? PDF Print E-mail

A2. The social is a good mix of progressive and latin dances. The dances routines are short and easy to learn. Dancers can join any of three groups; beginner, intermediate or advanced to learn a routine thats fun and challenging without being overwhelming. The music played is taken straight from todays pop/rock charts which is sure to get your feet tapping.

Q3. Do I need a partner to dance? PDF Print E-mail
A3. You don't need to bring your own partner to the social dance. You'll be changing partners many times throughout the evening as you learn fun new dances.

Q4. What clothes should I wear? PDF Print E-mail
A4. Comfortable casual clothes are recommended. The studio is fully airconditioned but we promise you'll stay warm after doing a few dances. Sneakers are not recommended as they tend to grip too much and don't allow you to turn on the floor.

Q5. I've been to the social dance a few times and I want more! PDF Print E-mail
A5. Thats great! Most people get the dancing bug once they start and want to learn more of the technique and styles of the many different dances. The studio runs groups classes as well as having highly skilled and training Professions available for private lessons. Please see the friendly staff at the studio for more information.
